Useful Documents You Will Need
The following are documents we
suggest you should have available for official use in France - having
several photocopies of each saves time:
ESSENTIAL
- Passport
- Birth certificate - long version essential
- Marriage certificate
- Divorce decree absolute
- Driving licence
- Passport type photographs (several)
- Record of innoculations /vaccinations with dates
(see child health record - red book) - required to enroll children in
school/other activities
- P60 and monthly pay slips / statement of account from Inland Revenue for the two years prior to arrival in France
USEFUL
- Copy of medical records - available on request from your UK doctor
- Details of current medication (with advice/ingredient details from pack)
CARRY ON YOUR PERSON
Details of a name, phone number and address for next of kin / emergency
contact in the UK or France in the event of serious accident or death.
